Groundbreaking Ceremony Held for Yoncalı Dam

The Yoncalı Dam, to be constructed under the "Yoncalı Dam Construction Project," is located 31 km north of the Arguvan district in Malatya Province, Turkey. It is situated on the Yoncalı Stream and is designed to irrigate a total of 171,150 hectares of agricultural land. The dam will have a concrete-faced rock-fill structure with a height of 93.50 m from the foundation. With a crest length of 356 m and a total embankment volume of 2,160,240 m3, the Yoncalı Dam will have a total active storage volume of 125.55 hm3.
