The project is designed for irrigation purposes. Within the scope of the project, the İspendere Reservoir will be constructed on the Bekçüç Stream, located in the central district of Malatya, with the aim of irrigating the agricultural lands belonging to the village of Bulutlu.

Considering the needs and conditions of the project area, it is planned to store the water potential of the Bekçüç Stream in the selected reservoir. Through this, approximately 75 hectares (gross) of agricultural land belonging to the Bulutlu neighborhood are expected to be irrigated.
