The project area is located within the boundaries of Taşevler Village, Akçadağ District, Malatya Province. The reservoir site is situated approximately 43 km from the Akçadağ District, which is about 75 km from the center of Malatya Province, over the Amuklu Stream in Taşevler Village. The Taşevler Reservoir is constructed as a rock-fill dam with a membrane-covered face, aiming to irrigate a gross area of 773 hectares and a net area of 696 hectares of agricultural land.
